Calibration of equipment Health, safety and Environmental

Calibration is  The  set  of  operations  that  applied  under  specified  conditions  for standardization  of  Measuring  Equipment.  It  is  also  explained  as  checking relationship between the values indicated by Measuring Equipment or system and the  corresponding  accurate  standard to  determine  any  deviations  or  errors  and correcting the same.

HSE  department  has  some  equipment  that  must  be  calibrated.  All equipment  used  in  the  project  will  be  calibrated,  this  is  done  regularly  and periodically in accordance with the requirements and standards. There are types of equipment HSE department, such as:

·         Noise monitoring equipment (6 month_period calibration)

·         Air monitoring equipment (6 month_period calibration)

·         Humidity monitoring equipment (6 month_period calibration)

·         Gas detector equipment (12 month_period calibration)

·         Lux meter equipment (6 month_period calibration)

·         Win monitoring equipment (6 month_period calibration)

All  equipment  will  be  calibrated  to  be  done  by  a  third  party  who  has  been licensed.  All  the  equipment  has  been  calibrated  to  be  given  the  labeling  or certificated.  And  all  the  equipment  has  been  calibrated  must  have  a  record  of making it easier to do on a regular basis.

Certification

All  equipment  must  have  certificate  and  calibration  from  third  party  and  have license  from related  Association certificate.

Handling

All  equipment  must  be  made  care  and  handling  well,  purposes  with  good handling equipment calibrated so that the results are still good.

Storing

Storage of all equipment in accordance with the procedure is very important to maintain the quality of the equipment. After using the equipment must be kept in place. All equipment used must follow SOP of manufacture.
